Tēnā koutou katoa,
It was great to see Levin feature as having the warmest temperatures over the Queen’s Birthday weekend. Fine weather always makes a smile easier!
Today I want to write about Community Connection, a key part of our work. On the website (News & Events) you will see a Community Connect opportunity, with the focus on keeping children safe online. We are thrilled to be able to offer this in partnership with Linewize and hope as many of you as possible can come along. Online respect and online safety are an important way to ensure that you are supporting your children in what can be a difficult space.
Over the last two weeks Matua Ricky has met with whānau from the Senior Kapa Haka and Tamariki Ora roopu and there is a lot on for both groups. If you have a child in either, or both of these roopu, please check the facebook page and touch base with Matua Ricky about what is happening. Exciting times!
Coming up are our 3-way conferences (22-24 June) where teachers meet with children and their whānau around success, progress and achievement. This is a big part of connecting with families and getting your input into learning activities for your child. Please keep an eye out for more information, and book your conference as soon as you can.
Next week also sees our Showquest team hit the stage in Palmerston North. We are thrilled to be able to support such a venture and look forward to seeing the one-time-only performance on stage on Wednesday night. Tickets are available through:
Have a great, shorter week.

- Our Showquest team hit the stage next Wednesday 16th June, with planning and rehearsals well underway. A big night for them!
- 3-Way Conferences. The teacher-student-parent conferences will be held over 3 nights on 22nd, 23rd and 24th June. School will close at 2pm on the 22nd and 23rd June to allow enough time for all families to book a time to meet with the teachers. If required, we will arrange some childcare for the days we close at 2pm.
